Centenary Names New Coach

Centenary announced Ashley McDonough as their new head coach. Coach McDonough was previously the head coach at Knox College, which is an NCAA DIII school out of Illinois. Coach McDonough coached for 4-years at Knox accumulating a 34-77 record during that time, and her 2017 team posted the most wins for the program since 1995. Prior to Knox College, she was the head coach for 2-years at Cayuga Community College in Auburn, New York.

Bethany Johnstone was the interim head coach since Caroline Carlton resigned and my assumption is that she’ll move back to assistant with this hiring.

That’s two of the three coaching vacancies filled with only UMHB still left to be decided.
