Updates: Weekly Wrap-Up is out. Impressive first set win for Centenary. Big comeback early for Centenary but St. Thomas able to close out the set late. Now it’s 2-1 St. Thomas as they keep their roll going. Celts get the win in 4. Appears both teams had an almost identical Points/Set average. Away from computer……

Saturday, Feb. 27 Match Day!

Update: Got this out late on a day with early matches. Oh well. Austin College wins their match 3-1. They again lose the first set and then handle up on TLU pretty easily after that. Double-digit kills for Olivia Linton and Caitlin Mahoney. Three solo blocks for setter Kacie Hall. Trinity does get the sweep……

AVCA Top 25 (2/24/21)

Surprise! The AVCA is putting out a Top 25! Bless their heart. I mean, talk about just not having a clue on how to compare teams from different conferences let alone different regions. Still, they are trying and I am all for trying. First off, I only see 20 first place votes. Now, in normal……

Points/Set Standings (2/24/21)

Only one more team was added to the West Region “We beat Covid because we’re playing volleyball” list. That makes 19 teams in our standing while we wait for 10 more to come out of hiding. We’ve got 5 out of the NWC (Oregon schools) plus Concordia, Centenary, Dallas and Southwestern. Whoops, that makes 9……
