Hardin-Simmons University has announced today that Kendall Crisp will take over the open position of Head Volleyball Coach. Coach Crisp has been the assistant at the program for the last two years and was the interim coach and the beginning of last season when Coach Shelton was on maternity leave. HSU had a nice bounce back season in 2022 so this hire certainly makes sense as Coach Crisp was a big part of that.
In addition to being an assistant coach, Coach Crisp was also a club coach and a volunteer coach at Texas Tech. She played four years at Abilene Christian starting in 2015 before playing one year professionally in Sweden.
I wish nothing but success for Coach Crisp and the HSU program moving forward.
